Police arrest a man in connection with the September attack of a Sikh professor in Manhattan.

Authorities say 20-year-old Christian Morales is charged with aggravated harassment as a hate crime.

He's accused of pulling the beard of Doctor Prabhjot Singh, a Columbia University professor.

Morales is the first arrest made in the case.

On the night of September 21st, just a few blocks away from Columbia's campus, Singh says about 25 to 30 teenagers started yelling at him, calling him Osama and a terrorist.

He says they then started punching him, fracturing his jaw.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
