Police on Sunday announced the arrest of a man who they say is responsible for the death of another man whose body was found stuffed inside a large container in Brooklyn.

Joshua Simser, 24, is charged with second degree murder.

Investigators say a Brooklyn nightclub owner called police saying one of his employees admitted to killing somebody.

They discovered the body Saturday afternoon inside a two-family house located at 1561 East 54th Street in Flatlands.

"Some detectives came looking for him around the corner," said one neighbor. "About 38. Had a seven year old kid. Great guy."

"Somebody was stabbed and the guy that was stabbed doesn't live in the house. So, you know, it could've been robbery or something. I just live on the block, so I'm concerned," said another neighbor.

A friend of the victim tells NY1 he was "a good guy" and he had a young son.

A cause of death is still to be determined. ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
