Break out the turntables and head on over to your local music store if you have one, because it's Record Store Day.
Vinyl lovers in the city and across the country are descending on local music shops for the yearly celebration of the record.
Many stores are stocked with special vinyl releases made just for the day.
Some of this year's special offerings include a limited edition four-album unplugged REM box set, as well as offerings from Nirvana, the Notorious BIG and Bruce Springsteen.
Many people now buy music digitally, but some said there's still nothing better than vinyl.
"The sound of vinyl is just a lot fuller, a lot more rich," said one person.
"That's why there's a resurgence right now with vinyl, is because people crave holding something in their hand," said another.
"Vinyl is just always something to come back home to that's really natural and warm to come home to, and you'll never find that anywhere but with vinyl," said a third.
This is the seventh year of the event.
