Police need help getting more information about a suspect who they say inappropriately touched a child in the Bronx last month.
Police say the suspect, seen above, tried to talk to the 13-year-old victim on a city bus on the afternoon of March 13.
When the victim got out of the bus, police say the suspect followed him into his building.
He then allegedly pulled down the victim's pants and inappropriately touched him.
The victim pushed the suspect, who then ran away.
Neighbors said this sort of behavior is unacceptable.
"That's disgusting," said one neighbor. "I think whoever did this should be apprehended to the fullest extent of the law."
"I'm sure the young boy is upset, and I hope that wouldn't happen again," said another. "Terrible thing. Very traumatic for a child."
The victim was not hurt during the incident.
Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
