The case of the 4-year-old who died in the company of his babysitter has officially been ruled a homicide.

The medical examiner found Thursday that Myls Dobson's cause of death was child abuse and dehydration at the hands of an adult.

Myls was found unconscious and unresponsive in a building on West 48th Street in Manhattan in January after his caretaker, Kryzie King, called 911.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Though King claimed that the boy had fallen, she was ultimately charged with a 12-count indictment on assault, endangering the welfare of a child and other charges.

She was not charged with murder because the cause of death was not determined at the time.
