New Yorkers are reacting to a viral video of a rat scaring passengers on a Brooklyn-bound A train.
The video taken Monday morning shows straphangers screaming and standing on their seats as the rodent scurries back and forth through the subway car.
The man who shot the clip says the rat boarded the train at Fulton Street in Manhattan.
NY1 asked some commuters what they think of the underground pests.
"No, I don't like them, but it doesn't scare me. Kinda used to them, living in the city," said one New Yorker.
"I just think it's like a natural thing for New York I guess," said another New Yorker.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says it has doubled its rodent control budget this year to more than $1 million.
