The brush fire in southern New Jersey is no longer impacting air pollution in our area.

Officials say air quality levels in the city are now acceptable.

More than 1,500 acres have burned in the Wharton State Forest, which is about 90 miles away from the city.

At one point, officials had temporarily warned city residents, especially those with lung issues, to minimize their outdoor activity.
