A $2,000 reward is being offered for information about two men wanted for two separate livery cab robberies in Brooklyn.

Investigators say shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday morning, one of the two men pulled a gun on a driver in Bushwick and demanded money.

The driver got out of the car and ran off and the robbers stole $70 from the cab.

A few minutes later and a few blocks away, one of the robbers pulled a gun on a different driver, who handed over $250.

The State Federation of Taxi Drivers is asking anyone with information to come forward.

The group also wants a stronger police response.

"We want to sit down with Commissioner Bratton and we want to develop a plan, a plan of attack. How do these drivers defend themselves? You know when you're transporting people and you're transporting money you're carrying valuable good with you," said Federation of Taxi Drivers President Fernando Mateo.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
