Three teens have been arraigned in connection with the shooting death of a delivery man on Staten Island.

James Sanders, 16, Otoniel Carty, 17, and Devin Hill, 19, are facing murder and attempted robbery charges.

The Staten Island district attorney's office says the three men surrounded 50-year-old Richard Salvia in an attempt to rob him in Mariners Harbor Tuesday night.

That's when Sanders allegedly pointed a gun at Salvia while Hill searched his pockets.

Officials say Sanders then shot Salvia in the head.

They say the gun was later recovered at Carty's home.

Sources tell NY1 that one of the teens allegedly confessed to police that the robbery had been planned for a week.

All three suspects will make court appearances this week.
