New Yorkers of all ages got a chance to let off some steam in a good old-fashioned pillow fight Saturday, as hundreds turned out for Pillow Fight Day in Washington Square Park.
Participants of all ages whacked the people nearest to them while trying to not get hit themselves.
"Being the wizard, everyone obviously wants to hit me because I'm all powerful," said one person.
"People with the pillows and everything, really fun," said another.
"Inside's pretty crazy. It's a little bit violent," said a third.
"It gets violent, but it's all for fun," said a fourth.
More than 50 cities around the world held their own version of the event this year.
