Police are looking for a man that they say robbed five laundromats and dry cleaners in Manhattan.

Police say in each incident, he pulls out a knife, demands money and then removes it from a cash register.

The incidents have taken place between February 22 and this past weekend.

Police say in two of the cases, the suspect assaulted people inside the stores, including punching a 70-year-old woman who refused to hand over money.

Police say he has made off with $1,300 in total.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
