The number of people beating the Henry Hudson Bridge toll has gone up since its cash lanes were eliminated.

The Journal-News of Westchester is reporting a nearly 800 percent increase in toll beaters since the MTA began mailing bills to drivers who did not have EZ-Pass.

Figures provided by the MTA show one in three drivers who received their toll by mail between November 2012 and September 2013 ignored the letter.

Those drivers reportedly owe the MTA around $1.6 million.

In 2012, the Henry Hudson Bridge was picked as a test site for the city's completely cashless toll system.
