The guitar player from the opening sequence of Comedy Central's "Chappelle's Show" is searching for his prized instrument.

Cedric "Catfish" Turner says he was returning from a performance in Brooklyn on an uptown 2 train and forgot to take his guitar and laptop with him when he exited at the 72nd Street subway stop.

He says that he called the Metropolitan Transportation Authority lost and found but hasn't had any luck.

Turner says he is devastated.

"I left it. It's the most frightening thought and feeling in the world. It's like leaving your baby, someone suggested on the internet to me. A frightful moment," he said.

Turner says that he's offering a $500 reward to whoever returns the items.

He says to contact him on Facebook if you have any information.
