Authorities on Staten Island say that a woman killed her neighbor's pet hen after getting into an argument.

Officials say 32-year-old Michelle Conti was arrested after she punched her 80-year-old neighbor in the chest over the weekend, knocking him down.

The next day, according to the Staten Island district attorney's office, Conti admitted to running over one of the neighbor's guinea hens, killing it.

They say she left and came back to kick to take a picture of the dead bird with a cigarette in its mouth.

Conti faces assault and harassment charges, along with charges of torturing and injuring animals.
