A church community deeply impacted by the building explosion in East Harlem laid another member to rest.

Friends and family gathered at the Bethel Gospel Assembly on Monday for the funeral of 67-year-old Carmen Tanco.

She is the second member the church has said goodbye to since the disaster.

A funeral was held on Friday for 45-year-old Griselde Camacho.

"This has been a tremendous loss for us, but an opportunity to really be encouraged by the depth of community and love for each other that we share. And I will deeply miss Carmen as well as Griselde Camancho who also passed away. And she was such a light and such a joy to know and I'm definitely going to miss her deeply,” said Ebony Small, a member of Bethel Gospel Assembly.

The church is asking everyone to keep the families of both women in their prayers.
