Subway riders are in for transit headaches this weekend as 16 lines will see service disruptions because of maintenance and repair work.

Among the big changes, 7 train service between Times Square-42nd Street and Queensboro Plaza will be suspended again for signal work and Hurricane Sandy related repairs.

The disruption runs from 2 p.m. Saturday through 5 a.m. Monday.

Number 1 trains will be suspended between 96th Street and Van Cortlandt Park from 11:30 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday.

Riders are urged to take the A train, M3 buses and free shuttle buses as alternatives.

A train service between Broad Channel and Far Rockaway will be suspended from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

The A will be rerouted to Rockaway Park.

Free shuttle buses will run between Far Rockaway and Beach 90th Street.
