Attorneys will deliver opening arguments Thursday in the workplace abuse lawsuit between the city's 911 call center operators and the New York City Police Department.

Call center operators say they have been forced to work multiple overtime shifts, had sick days revoked, and faced racial discrimination.

The lawsuit also claims the worker's union did not follow through with complaints about work conditions.

A judge is expected to rule on a request for a restraining order, which would prevent call center supervisors from continuing sick day practices while the lawsuit is pending.
