A bus going from New York to Georgia overturned early Monday morning, sending 58 people to the hospital.

The bus left Brooklyn Sunday night and crashed around 4 a.m. in Stafford County, Virginia, just south of Washington, DC.

Virginia State police say the bus was southbound on 1-95 when the driver lost control and ran off the roadway.

The bus was operated by Princess Tours.

Police say the driver, Qilong Xiao, 50, of Flushing, is under arrest for reckless driving.

Investigators say speed was a factor in the crash.

Of the 58 passengers treated at the hospital, only four were seriously injured.

None of the injuries are said to be life-threatening. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
