Funeral arrangements are being made for the victims of Wednesday's explosion and building collapse in East Harlem.
A viewing for George Amadeo is scheduled for Monday at the Ortiz Funeral Home on 116th Street.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at the Church of Saint Raymond Cemetery in the Bronx.
A longtime friend says Amadeo was a generous man.
"I'm just shook up right now, He was a good guy you know he was just a good guy, you know what else can you say about a guy. Fun loving easy going, you know he'd give me the shirt off his back, you know family man, you know he's just, he's just a good guy, what else can you say you know? It's just a shock you know that he's gone you know I'm just broken up, you know I just can't believe it,” said Herbert Hurdle, a friend of Amadeo.
The 44-year-old lived on the top floor of one of the buildings.
