New Yorkers are once again bundling up as strong winds and bitter cold temperatures make their way into the city.
A wind advisory is in effect until 6 p.m.
The city Department of Buildings is reminding all construction companies to secure their sites, including cranes and scaffolding.
Spot-check inspections will also be performed.
Property owners are being asked to secure any lightweight objects such as gas grills, lawn furniture or outdoor plants.
