Police say they found five pounds of heroin while answering a noise complaint in Queens Friday night.

Police say they knocked on Frank Giardina's Fresh Meadows apartment door Friday night, intending to write him a summons.

When he answered the door holding a marijuana pipe, police say they asked for his I.D.

That's when, according to investigators, he invited them into his apartment, where they allegedly found nearly 2,000 glassines of heroin, as well as packing materials and equipment.

Giardina faces a number of drug charges.
