Police have arrested a man that they say ran over a police officer with an all-terrain vehicle in Brooklyn last weekend.

Police say that surveillance video taken around 3:30 a.m. Sunday shows 31-year-old Kenny Ortiz driving an ATV on the sidewalk, when he was approached by two officers in East New York.

Ortiz, who's from Queens, allegedly hit one of them and dragged him 200 feet before speeding off.

The officer ended up with a broken nose and an injury to his ankle.

Ortiz faces a number of charges, including attempted murder, assaulting a police officer, reckless driving and operating an unregistered vehicle.
