For the first time, the top high school basketball teams in the city will be crowned at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The Public School Athletic League and Borough President Eric Adams showed off Thursday the four girls and boys teams that will compete in the finals this Saturday.
The championship game had been held at Madison Square Garden for more than two decades.
This year, it will be in Brooklyn and streamed live at barclayscenter.com.
"It feels good," said Shamorre Ponds of Thomas Jefferson High School. "I've never been here, so it's a first-time thing. It feels good."
"No matter how they thought, Brooklyn in the center of the universe, and it's where this happens and where the great players have come from," Adams said. "So many great players have played here in the borough of Brooklyn and went on to professional sports."
Saturday's girls varsity Class AA finals game at noon will include Francis Lewis and South Shore High School.
Following them, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Cardozo High School will battle it out for the boys title.
