The newest addition the city's skyline is the highlight of a new interactive multimedia project.
TIME magazine's "The Top of America" features a 360 degree, high-definition panoramic photo from the very top of the One World Trade Center spire, which marks the highest point in all of the western hemisphere.
Visitors to the site will be able to check out never-before-seen views, even zooming in as close as street signs.
The project also includes two short films.
One shows the behind-the-scenes process in taking the panoramic photo, and the other following the emotional journey of workers who are putting the finishing touches on One World Trade Center.
