Police have released a sketch of a man suspected of hitting and injuring a Brooklyn police officer with an ATV over the weekend.
Investigators say the man was spotted on an ATV weaving in and out of traffic and driving on the sidewalk in East New York on Sunday.
When police pulled the man over and approached him, he sped away, hitting an officer and dragging him nearly 200 feet before knocking the officer to the ground and running over his leg.
"I spoke to the officer last night. Still at Jamaica Hospital. He had another procedure last night. He'll still probably be in for a few more days. He was in good spirits. Still a lot of pain and discomfort. They reset his broken nose and were dealing with his ankle issue which was of most concern," said Police Commissioner William Bratton.
Investigators have also released this surveillance video of the ATV as it sped away Sunday afternoon.
Police have arrested four other people in connection with the incident.
