A woman has been arrested and charged with stabbing the man she lived with to death.
Police say 34-year-old Jacqueline Carroll is charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police say they arrived at 1253 East 72nd Street in the Flatlands section of Brooklyn shortly before 8:30 a.m. Monday to find 38-year-old John Ferraro with multiple stab wounds to his torso.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Carroll was at the home and was taken into custody.
Investigators say the couple has as many as six previous domestic incidents on record.
One neighbor says that police cars were a regular site at the house.
"I heard that they was arguing or fighting, but I never seen them in person, but I do be seeing the cop cars every other day here," the neighbor said. "It's normal to see them there."
Police say the couple also has a 4-year-old daughter.
It's unknown if she was home at the time.
