A 92-year-old woman is dead after a fire at her home in Queens.
It happened at around 10:30 a.m. Monday at a two-story building in Flushing.
Fire officials say that they do not know the cause of the fire yet, but they say it started on the first floor.
Authorities say the woman's sons lived on the second floor and tried to save her.
She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
"She was really a very sweet, lovely woman," said one person. "I'm so sorry to hear that she passed away."
Fire officials say that two other people were hurt.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
