One man is under arrest after allegedly stealing three paintings from a Brooklyn art gallery.

Louis Lassalle has been charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

Lassalle allegedly stole three oil paintings by Aamar Stewart from the storage room of the Cotton Candy Machine Art Gallery on Saturday night.

Police say he had visited the gallery earlier in the day.

They say that officers nabbed him a few blocks away.

A representative from the gallery said that they are still missing two paintings: a giant Nelson Mandela and a giant Snoop Dogg.
