Seven people were hurt Saturday evening after sources say a car ran a red light in Queens.

Sources say a Honda Civic headed south on 99th Street sailed through a red light and was struck by a Mitsubishi heading East on 57th Avenue in Corona just before 6 p.m. Saturday.

The Honda then hit an Infiniti waiting at the light, as well as a double-parked car and two other parked cars, according to sources.

Both the driver and passenger of the Honda were taken to the hospital in serious condition, according to sources.

Sources say five other people suffered minor injuries.

Sources say the driver is facing charges, including one for driving with a suspended license. ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
