Police are on the hunt for a suspected robber who was caught on camera wearing a rather unique shirt.

Investigators are looking for the man seen in a surveillance photo wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt with the words "Haters Make Me Famous" on the front.

They say he was wearing the shirt when he followed another man inside an apartment building on Hegeman Avenue in East New York shortly after 7 p.m. back on January 30.

Police say the robber pulled out a handgun and took the victim's Samsung Galaxy phone.

The victim was not injured.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
