Latin music superstar Romeo Santos won't be playing in pinstripes, but he will taking the field at Yankee Stadium this summer.
Santos was joined by Yankees officials Monday for the release of his latest album, "Formula Vol. 2."
Following in the foot steps of artists like Beyonce and Billy Joel, Santos will also play a summer concert in Yankee Stadium, making him the first Latin music artist to play the venue.
The Bronx native and multi-platinum artist is best known for his blend of Dominican bachata music with hip-hop and R&B.
"I'm a Yankee at heart because I'm from the Bronx, but I always just visualized coming to a game with my dad. I never envisioned that I would ever be performing in Yankee Stadium, and it's truly an honor," said Santos.
The concert is scheduled for July 12.
