National Grid is keeping a close eye on a Staten Island neighborhood that saw a gas explosion just last month.

A call came in Sunday reporting the smell of gas near a home on Delaware Street in Dongan Hills.

A National Grid spokesperson says crews are taking readings and no one has been injured or evacuated.

Last month, three people, including a firefighter, were injured following a gas leak in a home on the same street.

Homes within a three block radius were evacuated.
