Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man wanted in connection with at least two Manhattan bank robberies.

They released the above surveillance photo of the suspect.

According to police, the first robbery happened just before noon on Friday at the Popular Community Bank on Delancey Street in the Lower East Side.

Then, about a half an hour later, police say the suspect held up a Capital One Bank on 34th Street near Second Avenue in Murray Hill.

On both occasions, police say the robber passed a note to the teller demanding $7,000 and letting them know he had a gun.

He was able to make off with a combined total of $2,885.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
