The most famous fork in the city sold at auction and made its way back to its owner.

Mayor Bill de Blasio was jokingly jabbed somewhat for using a fork to eat a pizza at Goodfellas Pizzeria in Staten Island last month.

De Blasio defended his use of a fork to eat pizza, saying it's typical in Italy.

The fork was sold during an online charity auction for $2,500 on Friday.

Those proceeds will go to the Stephen Siller Foundation to help veterans with disabilities.

The Daily News says the winning bidder wants to remain anonymous and gave the fork back to Goodfella's.
