The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says that Select Bus Service will come to 125th Street sometime this spring.
The new M60 will join six other SBS routes in the city, including two in Manhattan.
It will make fewer stops than the local M60 and allow riders to pay their fares before they board.
The MTA says it will cost them $2.7 million a year to run the new line.
They hope it will improve travel times along the route, which currently averages nearly 3 mph during some parts of the evening rush.
