Police are investigating after two young men and an elderly woman were shot in the Bronx Wednesday afternoon.

The shooting happened on the corner of Morris Park Avenue and White Plains Road in Van Nest at around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday.

An 18-year-old was shot in the arm, a 19-year-old in the leg, and a bullet grazed the hand of a 79-year-old woman, according to police.

Police say all were taken to Jacobi Medical Center and are expected to recover.

Police are still trying to figure out the circumstances, saying only that no weapons were found at the scene and that the two men did not shoot at each other.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
