The Special Commissioner of Investigation says that the principal of a Far Rockaway school should be fired.

The schools investigator says that Principal Marcella Sills of P.S. 106 was often late or absent from work, but was still paid her full salary.

Investigators also recommended that Sills be unable to work for the DOE or any of its vendors in the future.

SCI also says that the school's former assistant principal, Tonya West, should be disciplined because she allegedly falsified her own time cards and attendance records.

The Department of Education says it plans on following the recommendations.
