The New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who assaulted a cabbie.

Luis Molina was driving a taxi in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx on January 22 when police say he got into an argument with a woman.

Officers say the argument escalated and the suspect punched Molina in the face.

He was treated for a nose injury.

Meanwhile the Federation of Taxi Drivers says that it was two men posing as passengers who tried to rob Molina before beating him.
