Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a piece of Beatlemania from "The Ed Sullivan Show."

A chunk of the stage backdrop signed by the band during their first appearance on the show will be up for grabs in April.

The 4 ft. by 2 ft. piece is being sold by a longtime Beatles fan through Heritage Auctions.

The price tag is expected to range from $800,000 to $1 million.

In the middle of the show, a stagehand asked the Beatles to autograph the wall behind them.

The backdrop piece will be on display at Heritage Auctions' Park Avenue gallery in time for this weekend's Beatlefest celebration in Manhattan. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
