A Manhattan woman pleaded not guilty Wednesday for her alleged involvement in the death of 4-year-old Myls Dobson.

Kryzie King, 27, faced a 12-count indictment for assault, endangering the welfare of a child and other charges.

She was not charged with murder.

The medical examiner still has not determined the boy's cause of death.

Authorities say that Myls' father left him in King's care while he was in jail.

She allegedly burned, beat and starved the 4-year-old before he died.

Myls was buried on January 2.

King was remanded into custody.

She'll appear in court again on March 26.
