Senator Charles Schumer calls on the NFL to return the big game to the Metropolitan Area sooner, rather than later.
Calling Sunday's game, and the week preceding it, a quote "home run," Schumer wants another one here within a decade.
"There was far more attention on the Super Bowl throughout the country and the world," said Schumer. "Given how great this was, bottom line is very simple - we should do this again. It was great for the teams. It was great for the NFL. It was great for the Super Bowl. It was great for New York, and it was great for the country."
Although Schumer called NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a friend, he says he hasn't spoken to him, or any insiders, about a repeat performance yet.
