Depending on who you rooted for, watching the game was either a nonstop party or painful, and nowhere in the city was that divide seen more sharply then at two neighboring bars. NY1's Michael Herzenberg filed the following report.

Seattle Seahawks lovers lived it up, celebrating a victory long awaited.

"I'm jazzed, man," said one Seahawks fan. "A lot of years, we just have not been great in Seattle, and now, people know we have an NFL team now. It's great."

It's been 35 years since any team in Seattle took home a title. That team was the Supersonics.

"So we've never got an NFL championship, so this is exciting," said one Seahawks fan. "We're bringing it home and it feels good."

Some of the fans came with painted hair and wigs to support a team and a city tattooed on their body and in their souls.

Irish pub Feila has been supporting the Seahawks for a few years. It's right next door to Stout, owned by the same family, which hopped on the Denver bandwagon this season. You could call it a tale of two saloons.

Almost immediately, Denver fans turned sullen.

Some hung their heads and may have needed a tissue. Others needed a pillow.

"I think the boys did a good job," said one Broncos fan. "I'm going to keep my chin up. Nothing to be ashamed of. Good game."

Most knew what they saw and knew that they must look to next season.

"Seattle played a great game, and we didn't have it today, but we'll be back," said one Broncos fan.

"We'll do it again next year in Arizona," said another. "Regardless, this is the greatest experience ever. New York, New Jersey, we got to do this every year."

That remains to be seen, but both the World Trade Center and the Empire State Building beamed in green for the west coast team.

The owner of Stout told NY1 that despite the loss, she's not bucking the Broncos. The manager at Feila said that the banner will fly for Seattle next season.
