Police need the public's help in finding a missing elderly woman suffering from mild dementia from the Bronx.

The NYPD has issued a Silver Alert for any information on the whereabouts of 84-year-old Carmen Hernandez.

She was last seen in the area of East 161st Street and Third Avenue in Morrisania at around 12:15 p.m. Sunday.

Hernandez is described as four feet tall with a thin build and white hair.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, black boots and a gray North Face jacket.

Police ask anyone who sees Carmen Hernandez to call 911.
