This is no surprise, Saturday Night Live's crew could not resist spoofing Staten Island Rep. Michael Grimm and his threat against our own Washington reporter Michael Scotto.

Tuesday after the State of the Union address, Grimm threatened to throw Scotto over a balcony and break him “like a boy," after Scotto tried to ask him a question about an investigation into campaign fundraising.

SNL host Melissa McCarthy played a congresswoman threatening a reporter from a newsroom called "Delaware 1."

Grimm later apologized to Scotto over the phone. Scotto did not file charges. But there could still be fallout for Grimm.

A Washington-based government watchdog group filed an ethics complaint against him. The group says Grimm violated a House rule that requires members to conduct themselves, "in a manner that reflects creditably on the House."
