Police are shutting down a long stretch of Broadway in Midtown as Super Bowl Boulevard gets ready to open.
Starting Sunday and lasting through Super Bowl Sunday, Broadway between 34th Street and 47th Street will be closed in order to host a series of football-themed attractions.
You can still go crosstown, though, as all cross streets, except for 41st Street, will stay open.
Specifically, 41st Street between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue will be closed during the day from 9 a.m. until midnight.
It's all to accommodate Super Bowl Boulevard.
Starting Wednesday, fans can check out the Vince Lombardi Trophy or a giant set of Roman numerals, or they can slide down a seven-story toboggan run.
