A piece of falling debris caused a crash on a stretch of the Grand Central Parkway in Queens Saturday.

A spokesperson from the New York State Department of Transportation says that they believe a piece of concrete fell off the overpass on 168th Street in Hillcrest.

The accident happened just after 6 p.m. Saturday, leaving one person with minor injuries.

Inspectors were on the scene late into the night checking the bridge for possible issues.
