Police are searching for a Manhattan teenager in connection with an attempted rape and a string of robberies in Manhattan.

Police released the above picture of the suspect, 15-year-old Kalief Jackson.

They say on January 19, Jackson approached a 34-year-old woman in an East Harlem apartment building.

Police say he pushed her to the ground and tried to rape her.

They say he ran away when the woman screamed.

Police also believe that he tried to rob a woman in an elevator two days earlier.

Police say as it reached the ground floor, he approached a 24-year old woman pretending to hold a gun.

Police say the woman screamed, and they say Jackson took off again.

Police say Jackson may have also been behind 11 other robberies in Manhattan.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
