For the first time since the New York City Opera went bankrupt members will gather for a public performance.
Musicians and singers from the opera will take part in a one-night show at City Center on February 21 to celebrate 70 years of the "People's Opera".
City Center is where the company first performed on the same date in 1944.
The concert will feature selections from eight different shows.
The New York City Opera filed for bankruptcy in October.
