A man already serving a life sentence without parole for killing a police officer is sentenced to 25 years to life for a separate incident.
Dexter Bostic, 40, was convicted last year of the attempted murder and robbery of a Queens man in July 2007.
Prosecutors say a day after that incident, Bostic and others shot and killed NYPD officer Russel Timoshenko during a routine traffic stop.
Queens D.A. Richard Brown says this latest sentence will run consecutive to Bostic's life sentence.
