A wake was held Monday for the 16-year-old Brooklyn boy who was found shot to death earlier this month.

Family and friends gathered Monday at the Trinity Baptist Church in Crown Heights to pay their respects to Iquan Williams.

A funeral will be held Tuesday morning.

Williams was leaving a house party on January 4 when he was killed.

His family members say that they tried to keep him from going after his brother read on Facebook that someone was planning to bring a gun.

Jahiem Spruill, 17, is charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
